Schneider Electric Romania, MassMutual Romania, KRUK Romania, dm drogerie markt and JYSK Romania are the most appreciated companies by employees, according to “Top Employers Undelucram.ro 2023”, annual ranking based on the evaluations of thousands of employees, who anonymously submit their feedback on the platform.
The top was created between November 16, 2022 and October 15, 2023 by the platform
Undelucram.ro, the largest online community of employees in Romania and one of the most important in Central and Eastern Europe. Top Employers Undelucram.ro is the only ranking in Romania that is based on the opinions of employees and not on the public image of companies.
Schneider Electric Romania, provider of integrated energy management and automation solutions, leads this year’s general ranking of employers. The overall top 10 is rounded out by companies from various industries, such as IT, non-food retail, consumer goods manufacturing, restaurants and quick service cafes.

MassMutual Romania, the technology partner of MassMutual, one of the most important insurance companies in the USA, ranked 2nd in the list of the most appreciated companies and 1st in the IT&C sector. The company has been present in Romania since 2020 through two global IT service centers and last year ranked first in the overall ranking. KRUK Romania, a company specialized in receivables management, moves up one position in the 2023 general ranking compared to last year.
The overall top is still dominated by companies from the IT&C industry, but unlike other years, there is a greater diversity of industries that make up the top 10 ranked companies, such as non-food retail and consumer goods manufacturing.
“The IT&C industry continues to be well represented in the overall list of most valued employers, with a significant number of companies in the ranking. However, this year we observe a much more varied structure of the top 10 positions, with companies from a variety of industries, which shows us that more and more employers, from all fields of activity, have become aware of the importance of the employer brand and developing an organizational culture that contributes to employee satisfaction and loyalty, as well as attracting new talent. We are witnessing, in my opinion, a positive evolution of the labor market, in which more and more employers are making real efforts to innovate and improve the range of benefits and provide employees with a pleasant and healthy working environment”, said Costin Tudor, founder and CEO of Undelucram.ro.
The position in the overall ranking is established according to the overall grade given based on employee evaluations (70%) and the grade for five other criteria (each with a percentage of 6%) considered important by employees: advancement opportunities; salary; office time vs. free time; management; procedures and values.
The general employers’ list for large companies (with more than 250 employees) is complemented by the lists by industry – IT&C, Consultancy, Banks, Health and Pharma, Telecommunications, BPO and Services, Non-food retail, Food retail, Manufacturing of offshore goods consumption, industrial production. Two new categories were introduced this year: Engineering and Quick Service Restaurants and Cafes.
Also, starting from 2022, the Undelucram.ro platform also publishes the list of SMEs (companies with less than 250 employees), which this year expanded from 30 to 50 companies. On the first 5 places ranked in the 2023 edition we find Wolfpack Digital, mReady, TopTech, MHC Romania and Cargo Track Solutions SRL.
“Another positive trend worth highlighting is the fact that more and more small and medium-sized companies have a real concern for the well-being, motivation and loyalty of employees, something that is reflected in the positive evaluations of employees and which determined the expansion of the SME top from 30 companies last year to 50 in this year’s edition”, added Costin Tudor, founder and CEO of Undelucram.ro.
